The route and the price are calculated before you confirm, using road distance from our own routing engine — not a guess, and not a meter you cannot see.

Proximity matching finds drivers genuinely close to you rather than whoever answers first, so waiting time reflects real distance.

Your money is held, not handed over
Payment goes into escrow when the job is accepted and is released on confirmed completion, scanned from a QR code. Nobody is paid for work that did not happen.

Questions about this service
I do not have a smartphone. Can I still use Walya?
Yes. Dial *922# from any handset, or call 9252 and a Walya agent will take the booking in your own language. Nothing about the service assumes a data connection.
How do I know the driver is who they say they are?
Every driver completes identity verification, and every vehicle is checked with photographs of the front and rear plates corroborated against its bollo certificate — not against the plate number the owner typed in.
What if the driver does not arrive?
No money leaves escrow until the trip is confirmed complete. An unfulfilled booking is refunded, and the dispute is recorded against the driver’s record.
